Yury Bettoni was born in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, a former Italian/American professional tennis player with a unique entrepreneurial mind. Yury trained for many years at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy, now IMG. Later, playing and training with tennis greats, such as Mary Pierce, Aranxa Sanchez Vicario, Roger Federer, Marat Safin and more former world’s top 10’s. With over 25 years of knowledge, passion and unparalleled motivation Yury created his tennis system and the Alessandra Bettoni Foundation. Using tennis as the vehicle to support underserved Ethiopian and Tanzanian youth with primary needs.
